Morning Walks
Each morning Barb Kaldahl leads guests on a vigorous walk around Pelican Lake. The 3.5 mile jaunt ends with the Big Pelican boat picking up walkers for the return trip. Coffee is served on board. (Plus a special treat on Fridays.)
Golf
Our 9 hole golf course is free to guests at Fair Hills or Lake Five. The short course (par 31) is perfect for those just starting out or for those wanting to improve their short game. We have many tournaments on the course during our recreation weeks and you might even spot someone coming around with lemonade and cookies! Golf clubs are available free of charge. Guests receive a 20% discount on green fees at Wildflower Golf Course.
Tennis
If you're a tennis fan, you'll be pleased to know that Fair Hills has six courts placed in scenic hillside locations. There are tournaments and free lessons for kids and adults during Sports Weeks!!
Volleyball and Basketball
The sun, the sand, a few good friends and a beautiful view of Pelican Lake-those are the ingredients for a friendly game of volleyball at Fair Hills. Features one sand and asphalt lakeside court. Fair Hills also has a asphalt basketball court where future NBA stars might be honing their skills. Our staff loves to play pick-up games and look for other players.
Children's Playground
An excellent, modern playground facility with a sand base will keep the little ones busy when you want to relax. It's centrally located, close to the Lodge.
Game Room
Fair Hills' game room is the spot for evenings, rainy weather or whenever you feel like having indoor fun complete with two ping pong and billiard tables.
Additional Activities:
On rainy days enjoy 2 TV’s and view our selected children’s videos. Our quiet upstairs library also has many books in it. Feel free to take a book home or bring one to add to the collection. No library fees to worry about!
