Renting the Big Pelican for a Groom’s Dinner is a very popular choice. The Big Pelican is a 55’ pontoon boat that cruises on Pelican Lake, MN.

Boat Rental Rates

$300 for the first hour and $200 for any additional hour(s)Includes driver & server

Meal Rates

We have several different options for meals on the boat.

  • Deli Spread $14 per person - Choice of breads, meats, cheeses and condiments, choice of salad & dessert
  • Backyard Grill $14 per person - Hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken breasts with buns, condiments, choice of salad & dessert
  • Pasta Bar $16 per person - Vegetable or meat lasagna, spaghetti noodles with choice of sauces, garlic toast, choice of salad & dessert
  • Build-your-own Fajitas $18 per person - Shredded beef & chicken with all the fixings, tortillas & choice of dessert
  • Steak & Chicken Dinner $20 per person - Grilled steak and chicken, baked potato, choice of salad, vegetable & dessert

Water, lemonade & coffee are included with all meals.

Meal prices for children ages 6-12 is half price. 

Hors d'oevres are available at the customer's choice. Price range is $20 - $60 per 25 people. Click here to download menu.

Please add 18% gratuity and a 6.875% Minnesota sales tax to all meal prices and Hors d'oevres.

Bar Options

We have several options for bars on the boat. A bartender can be available at your request or we can set-up your bar to be self-serve. Each cruise is specifically set-up for the individual groups. We have a full liquor license and will be able to accommodate all requests for your event.

Beer is $4, wine is $5, mixed drinks range from $4 to $7

Boat Capacity
Boat ride only: 60 persons
Cocktail party: 50 persons
Ride with meal: 45 persons

The “meter” is running on the boat from the time you reserve it to the time the boat is back at the dock. If your party is running late, additional charges may be added for the time of the additional staff needed on the boat. If you desire to be picked up, you will be charged for the time that the boat leaves.

Additional Groom's Dinner Locations The main lobby deck, the dining room, the library or other various meeting rooms if you want to hold your event on land, or in case of inclement weather.
